Are you looking for a Human Resources Specialist role in the London Ontario area?
Do you have 4+years working in the Human Resources field with full recruitment/onboarding experience?
If you answered YES to the above questions, then we have an exciting opportunity as HR Specialist with one of London top firms in comprehensive planning and developing including small-to-large-scale communities with varied housing types and amenities such as multi-residential, and urban residential developments.
What we offer:
- Shift: Monday-Friday Day
- Yearly Salary: 70,000/yr. to 80,000K
- Location: London Ontario

Key Responsibilities for job:
- Have experience in full recruiting and onboarding processes along with understanding Employment legislation in Ontario
- Provide HR support and guidance to the management team and employee groups
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records
- Administration of the company benefit program
- Assist hiring managers with recruitment initiatives
- Maintain detailed job descriptions and create new job descriptions when needed
- Understand and possibly update HR policies and procedures as needed based on company changes or legislative changes
- Respond to manager and employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures
- Perform the orientation/onboarding of new hires and set up safety training and background checks for all new employees
- Maintain safety training logs for all employees to ensure training credentials are up to date
- Conduct exit process for departing employees
- Monitor employee engagement to identify issues/trends
- Other duties and projects as required
Key responsibilities and skills
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources Management required
- Minimum of 4 years of proven work experience in a similar role
- CHRP is an asset, but not required
- Understanding of employment legislation
- Ability to deal with people sensitively, diplomatically, and professionally while also maintaining a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
