Allen Professional Search, London Office, is currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer in the manufacturing industry. This position offers a competitive salary, is located in London and is a permanent opportunity.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Responsible for activities necessary to provide Quality support for all APQP/PPAP activities including documentation, coordination, parts evaluation
-Develop and coordinate QA documents: FMEA, Control Plan, Work Instructions
-Facilitate Quality Improvement activities; problem solving initiatives, provide Quality support to the Technical and Engineering departments
-Perform/support measurement requirements (SPC, dimensional layouts, gauge calibration, etc.) - Support the implementation & development of the Quality System, gauging/MSA requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must be Certified Quality Engineer or actively pursuing designation
-Degree or diploma in electrical or related field preferred
-Six Sigma Black or Green Belt Certified
-Working knowledge of ISO 9000 systems
-GD&T, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, disciplined problem-solving methods - 8-D
-Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
-Demonstrate solid organizational, planning and presentation skills
-Strong mechanical aptitude is necessary
SALARY:
base salary 62-68K plus OT, great benefits package with pension plan
