Citi Cards Canada Inc.  – Financial Credit Card Call Centre Downtown Location

Training to start in September/October.

Job Responsibilities for Collector 1

Responsible for the timely and effective handling of all Consumer and Commercial early stage (1-59 days past due) primarily outbound customer calls.
• Gain a clear understanding of the reason for the arrears, negotiate and select the most appropriate collection techniques to remedy the delinquency.
• Ability to manage difficult customer situations
• Maintain accurate and concise account documentation to reflect existing policies and procedures.
• Special projects and other tasks as required.
• Foster and promote a team environment

 ·        Excellent verbal communication skills in English and French is an asset

Qualifications:

 

• Minimum 1 year Customer Service/Call Centre experience recommended

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Effective listening skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good negotiation skills
• Data entry, keyboarding skills
• Ability to handle large volumes
• Willing to work shifts as assigned within an extended hour operation

 

Department Hours are from 8 am to 10 pm Monday to Thursday

Friday/Saturday 8 am to 4 pm

Schedule will include one evening shift a week and every other Saturday.

Training will be for 3 weeks from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.
