Position: Electronics Engineering Technologist

Responsibilities:

Work in a technical support role with the engineering team with focus on the developing of product prototypes, related design and field technical support.

Responsible for assisting engineering in the developing of product prototypes, test procedures and provide technical support for manufacturing, test, application service and customer support in field.

Key duties:

Your main responsibilities will be to perform various engineering technical support functions within the engineering department and customer service, including, but not limited to, the following:

·        Perform various assembly/test functions on prototypes & related test equipment.

·        Creating outline, assembly and other drawings related to engineering department.

·        Writing various product manuals, test procedures and work instructions, including Fiel Modification procedures.

·         Available to travel throughout Canada and the United States for product support.

·         Assist with ECN’s as well as investigating NCR’s and other related matters.

·        Support junior engineering technicians, production/service departments

Education:

• A technologist or degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• Possess 8 - 10 years experience of product support in a similar environment
• Good written and verbal communications skills
