Certified Quality Technician (CQT or Equivalent)

            The Quality Systems Technician is responsible for handling all quality concern related to their assigned plant operations and communicating with the appropriate people to investigate, implement and document permanent resolutions.

·        Coordinates and documents all plant related quality communications, working within the production cross-functional team to address all internal and external quality concerns

·        Authorize, coordinate and document all external and internal containment activities

·        Drives problem-solving and corrective action implementation, documentation and resolution

·        Interface between the customer and Marwood on all plant related customer issues

·        Maintains all nonconforming product and corrective action related documentation system

·        Maintains all plant related Supplier quality control documentation and supporting programs

·        Provides training and instruction on the proper use of quality inspection methods and equipment

·        Coordinates all special inspection, testing and calibration requirements for the plant

·        Coordinates all sorting activity through MCI, maintains MCI list and all associated tracking records and documentation, is responsible for over all MCI area

·        Verifies all processes, procedures and documentation are completed efficiently within the plant

·        Monitors plant operations for implementation and adherence to all quality system requirements

·        Develop and manage plant improvement data bases LLDB and Layered Audits

·        Informs the Quality Manager on plant related customer issues and quality system initiatives, and actively participates on Marwood project teams and other assigned or relevant duties

3.0       Minimum Education / Training Required

·        OSC Grade 12 or equivalent

·        Must be a CQT (Certified Quality Technician) or equivalent

·        Working knowledge of blueprints, statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques

·        3 years related experience in Tier 1 Automotive manufacturing

·        Direct experience with stamping, welding and assembly processes, computer efficiency and systems knowledge in all required areas
