Our client is searching for a candidate with a passion for the health industry and a strong sense of foresight and leadership in a production role.
PURPOSE
? Oversee the transformation of raw materials into finished goods
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Compile detailed worksheets and specifications from customer’s order
? Enter data for production scheduling, stock replenishment/relocation, and inventory adjustments.
? Estimate type and quantity of materials and labor required for production
? Consult with stager to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner.
? Reconcile physical inventories with computer counts
? Prepare and maintain various reports on the progress of work, materials used, rates of production and other production information, using manual or computerized systems
? Coordinate and monitor the movement of parts, supplies and materials within an establishment and ensure that supplies, materials and products are shipped and scheduled.
OTHER DUTIES
? Meet regularly with other Departments
? Coordinate and facilitate meetings
? Coaching and training Team Members
? Forklift preventative maintenance
? Backorder report maintenance
? Review Inventory

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
? Computer skills: Word Processing, Web applications
? Courses in production and inventory management
? Leadership skills
? 3-5 years work experience in a similar field
? Ability to operate a computerized inventory system (MFG Pro an asset)
? Works well under pressure
? Pay close attention to detail
? Team Player
