The successful applicant will work an Awake Night shift in a residential setting, supporting developmentally and physically challenged adults with medical support needs.  Night duties include meal and menu preparation, household tasks, inventory control and ongoing documentation and daily/monthly charting. Schedule includes weekend shifts.

• Ability/willingness to lead individuals through a process of self-evaluation consistent with Cognitive Behavior Theory and Lead Management
• Ability to write clear, concise observations of behavior
• Ability to use sound judgment and make independent decisions based on Policies & Procedures
• Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of the team
• A valid Ontario (G) Driver’s Licence, current Police Records Check & Vulnerable Position Screening, First Aid Certificate with CPR, CPI Certificate

Qualifications:

• Post Secondary in a related field or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential services
