Information and Records Management Coordinator

 

Job Description

  • Assist in training and supporting business units on existing and future document management systems
  • Maintain training manuals and other project related documentation
  • Perform user acceptance testing and quality assurance on the content management system and modules
  • Liaise with business units for the development and maintenance of taxonomy, metadata schema, automated workflow, search, and other information structures
  • Assist records management with personnel with the records destruction process, records classification, and the application of procedures and protocols
  • Perform record reviews and audits of record collections and transfer documentation
  • Assist with other projects as required

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of records management/ document management concepts
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Preferred experience from the faculty of Information and Media Studies
  • Preferred experience with business analysis
  • Preferred experience with systems support and user training
  • Preferred experience with workflow and document management systems
