PART-TIME Production Staff

The Original Cakerie is Canada’s leading and largest privately owned frozen dessert manufacturer. Along with continued expansion and product line growth, the most important ingredient in our continued success has been our people.

The new plant, conveniently located just off Hamilton Rd. and Veteran’s Memorial Parkway, require a number of employees to join our Production teams as Part-time employees.

Our Part-time positions are great for those looking to fill their off-days and earn supplemental income, or those who simply want some flexibility around the hours they can work.

Position Summary:

• Work up to 4 shifts per week depending on YOUR availability; you are only required to be available for at least two shifts
• Shift times could vary on a daily basis depending on the product and your workstation assignment; Typically shifts start between 3am – 8am and run for up to 10 hours; Currently, we operate from Monday to Thursday. 
• Work on the production line in a variety of roles that work to produce our high quality cake products
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
• Work on various tasks with a focus on detail and quality
• Work in a fast-paced, team environment

Requirements:

• Flexibility to work a variety of hours
• High energy team player with an attention to detail
• Good manual dexterity
• Safety first approach to work
• Previous experience in a food environment preferred
