Our client is a small/medium size office that are looking for a candidate that is flexibility, experienced and can hit the floor running. The successful candidate will spend approximately half of their time on bookkeeping duties and half of their time on general office / receptionist duties. This position requires that the candidate learn and become familiar with custom software.
Skills Requires:
- proficient in Simple Accounting
- strong skills in all aspects of Accounts Receivable, Collections, cash receipts, banking.
- experience in a construction environment helpful including holdbacks, statutory declarations etc.
- familiar with Accounts Payable, payroll (currently use Nebs) and journal entries up to and including year end entries.
- detail oriented and able to prioritize
- proficient with other MS Office software, Word, Excel, Access, Email.
- phone skills, good customer service abilities, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- general office duties, copy, fax, scan, email, file etc.
- flexibility as to duties, as this is a small office that covers all areas and responsibilities
Renumeration: $14, benefits after probation
40 hours weekly Monday - Friday
