Job Description
Accounting Assistant
ETBO Tool & Die Inc. is a family-owned, manufacturing facility, in business since 1958. We design, build and service stamping tools, and produce millions of components for the North American automotive industry each year.
We are currently looking for an accounting assistant with experience in daily accounting, including payables and receivables, as well as general administrative duties. This position may assist with month-end and year-end procedures and preparations, depending on the skills of the successful applicant. Experience with Microsoft Office suite and accounting software would be an asset.
Possible Responsibilities
Generate & distribute invoices and customer statements
Process customer payments
Calculate & implement price list updates
Process vendor invoices and respond to supplier inquiries
Process petty cash
Reconcile credit card and bank statements
Perform administrative support functions
Perform additional monthly activities
Qualifications
College diploma in accounting or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of experience working in accounting preferred
Advanced critical thinking skills are required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly detail-oriented
Discreet and professional
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Must already be qualified to work in Canada
