Production Planner

Key focus:
The successful candidate in this role will be responsible for the scheduling of production orders, considering the necessary resources and optimal economic aspects (inventory, tool changes, material changeovers).
We require an experienced Production Planner who will be responsible for:
Scheduling of sample orders considering inputs from RD and MS departments.
Ensuring that the delivery dates requested by the customer are met, in close coordination with order processing.
Responsible for Raw Material planning and disposition.
Continuous further development of the planning strategy / planning tools.
Responsibility for cost-optimized and on-time series and pre-series planning.
Internal contact person regarding planning decisions / deviations.
Master user in the area of AP+ master data.
Execution of stock disposals (comparison of whether stock levels are between min and max) for the defined production area (at min, subsequent production is carried out)
Conversion of customer requirements into the planning system (in the case of delivery call-offs, deadline postponements, etc.), including detailed production planning of production orders (tool/machine allocation, tool change (set and/or master mold, material changeovers, etc.)
Coordination of planning with internal departments: production, application engineering, order processing and raw material disposition
Production control – monitoring of production quantities
Weekly Raw Material planning run to ensure enough raw material is in the pipeline to support planning goals
Responsible for ordering Raw Material (LSR, HCR, Color, Oils, and additives)
Participate in both external and internal audits
Responsible for the planning and execution of daily production requirements, while also developing the scheduling processes and procedures required to support new projects
Continuous improvement of business processes
Support Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives throughout the facility, ensuring safety, housekeeping and quality standards are maintained.
Other duties as assigned by the OS Manager.
Do you have?
University degree or College diploma in an Operations Management discipline
2-3 years of working experience in the field
Experience in work preparation or production-related areas, or initial experience in production planning an advantage.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office software
Experience in the use of an ERP system
Understanding of health and safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
Successful candidate will also have:

An understanding of how to coordinate the efforts of raw materials supply, forecasting, supply planning, and the execution of a production plan
Master data structure and responsibility
Cleanliness and orderliness in the local personnel work area of all persons under their control
Rescheduling of production orders in consultation with the order processing department
