Job Title:
Permanent Full-Time Recruitment and Orientation Coordinator
Location:
Primarily works from Administration Office located at 550 Fanshawe Park Rd, London ON N5X 1L1, with occasional travel to other locations in London, Sarnia, Dorchester, and Huron County
Schedule:
40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, work schedule between hours of 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

About the Role
London Bridge Child Care Services Inc. is looking for someone to join the team as the Recruitment and Orientation Coordinator that would be responsible for the full cycle recruitment process for positions across the organization. This includes but not limited to sourcing and screening candidates, conducting candidate pre-screens, scheduling and facilitating interviews, extending job offers, and some administrative onboarding tasks. This role ensures the company attracts and hires qualified talent to meet its current and future staffing needs. This includes all permanent and temporary employees, supply educators. This position also includes a partnership with post-secondary and secondary institutions to facilitate student placements. This position is for a future vacancy in March 2026.
This job description outlines the expectations and responsibilities for the Recruitment and Orientation Coordinator. It is intended to be used as a general guide. However, this role may change based on needs of the HR Department and organization. The successful candidate will report to the Human Resources Director.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct recruitment process including, scheduling and conducting pre-screens, interviews (virtual or in-person), and follow-ups with candidates, complete reference checks or feedback forms for candidates, extending letter of offers and positions to candidates, as well as feedback to all candidates that interview, if not successful, and communicate with centre lead(s) about new hire information and next steps
Be point of contact for Centre Lead(s) to communicate current or upcoming vacancies
Conduct short term and long term forecasting for the organization to plan for hiring periods
Post job postings to internal and external platforms
Maintain and organize recruitment documentation and hiring records
Generate recruiting metrics, such as new hire data, and assist with weekly or monthly hiring reporting
Develop strategies for recruiting and retaining new employees
Coordinate, plan, and attend career fairs or hiring events that will support recruitment strategy
Coordinate and facilitate student placements for post-secondary and secondary institutions
Coordinate and facilitate on boarding process for all new employees and placement students
Help manage employer branding content on job boards
Conduct exit interviews with employees and provide data on information of trends, and observations
Assist with facilitating onboarding sessions and professional learning
Identify opportunities for improvement in HR processes by analyzing current systems and recommending enhancements to increase efficiency, consistency, and compliance.
Other duties as assigned
Occasional travel to recruitment events, job fairs, and centres may be required

About You

Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or administrative support (entry-level considered with internship or related experience)
Post Secondary Diploma or Degree in a Human Services field (SSW, ECE, Community and Justice Services, and DSW) or Human Resources program
If applicable, Registration “In Good Standing” with the (CECE) College of Early Childhood Educators required
CHRP Designation or pursuing an asset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task and work under deadlines
Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team setting
Vulnerable Sectors Check
Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C (WSIB approved)
A valid driver’s license and daily access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage
