Description

Department:   Sales and Marketing

Location:         London

 

Provide excellent service to customers by acknowledging and accurately processing orders and customer inquiries; and, provide administrative support to the sales and marketing areas.

 

Customer Service

  1. Ensure timely and accurate response to customer orders
  2. Confirm accuracy of all information received and orders entered
  3. Ensure all aspects of order acceptance are met, e.g. pricing accuracy, account in good standing, and terms of delivery
  4. Coordinate the appropriate response to orders by liaising with internal departments such as Operations, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Shipping, Finance, and Logistics
  5. Provide customers with accurate shipping, invoicing and other required logistical information
  6. Provide price quotations to customers
  7. Act as a liaison between customers and Sales and Marketing staff

Marketing Support

  1. Assist in the monitoring of inventory levels of product, samples, and promotional material
  2. Provide French language proofing of Canadian retail collateral
  3. Assist in maintaining accurate databases and various internet searches
  4. Complete or organize administrative functions for the Sales and Marketing Department, e.g. filing, mailing, telephone responses, photocopying, faxing, printing, quotations gathering, communications proofing, clinical journal searches, and preparing and collating presentations or binders

Supplementary

  1. Respond appropriately to inquires from customers and Company employees for information on products, literature, and samples
  2. Provide Reception coverage as part of a rotating schedule

Qualifications

  • Relevant college certificate or diploma, e.g. administration, general business, etc.
  • Three years experience in a customer service or administrative environment in a medical or related field
  • French language literate with proficiency in writing and speaking
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with little or no direct supervision
  • Computer literate with intermediate experience in MS Office, including MS Outlook
