Accounting Clerk

 

Arkal Plastic North America Inc. is a manufacturer of injection molded resin automotive parts.  We are a tier 1 and tier 2 supplier to the automotive industry.  We are looking to hire an accounting clerk to work in our London Ontario plant.  This is a newly created position.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Assist in Accounts Payable Function:
    • Enter Vendor Invoices,
    • Match Vendor Invoices to Purchase Orders, &
    • Process Cheque Runs to Pay Vendor Invoices.
  • General Clerical Support:
    • Maintain Filing System.
  • Provide Assistance in Other Accounting Functions as Required:
    • Invoicing,
    • Payroll,
    • Purchase Orders.
  • Reception:
    • Answer Phone & Direct Incoming Calls, &
    • Greet Visitors.

 

 

Requirements

 

  • A Working Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel,
  • Good Computer Keyboard Skills,
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks,
  • Attention to Detail,
  • The Ability to Learn Quickly,
  • The Ability to Work with Minimal Supervision,
  • A Background in Bookkeeping / Accounting.

 

Compensation

 

·         Starting Pay: $15.45 per Hour

·         Eligible for Sun Life Group Insurance Benefits after Completion of 3-month Probationary Period.
