Position:   Customer Service Representative – Bilingual

                     (French/English)

Location:  Strathroy, Ontario

Columbia Sportswear Canada LP is seeking an ambitious Bilingual Customer Service Representative.

 

Reporting to the Customer Service/Operations Supervisor, the Customer Services Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to an assigned customer base by responding to requests and inquiries with accurate information in a courteous, efficient and timely manner.  This position will process orders, prepare general correspondence and coordinate customer service needs with other functions as needed.  Duties include resolving customer questions, complaints and requests that may require policy interpretation based on related services and policies as well as pricing, scheduling, returns and shipping.

 

The successful candidate must possess knowledge of effective telephone customer service techniques and strategies and exceptional oral and written communication skills.  The candidate must be proficient in keyboard use and must have a good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.  Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and a calm demeanor.

 

A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required.  A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service related position or call centre position is required.  Experience in apparel and/or footwear preferred.
