This demanding position requires you to:
- Deal with developers, contractors, site supervisors and trades people in person and on the phone.
- Show leadership skills with a great forward thinking attitude.
- Be familiar with all areas of the city of London and surrounding areas and be willing to do some light travel throughout Southwestern Ontario.
- Read blueprints, do take-offs, submit quotes and follow up with clients in a timely fashion.
- Have extensive experience in estimating.
- Attend various meetings as they relate to the position.
- Take the initiative to learn all aspects of the position from Sales through Purchasing.
- Work independently and have a "can do it" attitude.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, challenging but rewarding environment and must adapt easily to change.
- Be proficient in Excel and have some computer experience.
- Must come from a solid sales background.
- Manage several job sites and help oversee the day-to-day operations within the department.
- Set goals and objectives, manage budgets and exceed targeted expectations.
