Registered Occupational Health
Nurse
Our client in North London is currently seeking a Registered
Occupational Health Nurse to join their team. This a contract position with a
Dynamic Company.
The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with
current certificate from the College
of Nurses of Ontario
and have Occupational Health Nursing experience in the manufacturing setting as
well as Certification in Occupational Health or working towards completion. You
must have First Aid/CPR/AED Certification and experience with audiometric and
pulmonary function testing. Strong computer skills including Parklane, Lotus
Notes and Excel and OOHNA Membership.
Job Duties
- Deliver primary care of employee injury
and illness and provide emergency response.
- Perform medical surveillance,
pre-placement and periodic medical assessments.
- Assist with Short/LongTerm Disability
and Return to Work programs.
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of
employee health records and information.
- Assist with providing health promotion
and wellness initiatives (i.e. Flu & BP clinics)
- Able to work in a team environment as
well as independently
