Senior Underwriter (Personal Lines)
Reports to the Director of Insurance Operations and Claims

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative insurance professional, committed to ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service. A proven team player, with personal insurance expertise and strong interpersonal skills, you have a proven track record of managing the technical aspect of a personal lines portfolio.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring profitability of personal lines portfolio through use of underwriting tools and measures
- Manages personal lines underwriting authority
- Responsible for audit of personal lines portfolio
- Responsible for technical training and guidance of personal lines staff
Position Requirements
· RIBO License required
· University Degree or College Diploma, CAIB and/or CIP designation an asset
· 5-8 years personal insurance underwriting experience
· Comprehensive and effective verbal/written communication skills
· Ability to work well under pressure with minimum supervision in a team environment
· Excellent time management and organization skills
· High attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to multi-task between a variety of tasks, projects, and deadlines
· Proficient in Microsoft Office products
