Job Role

 

  • Bookkeeper
  • Office Admin

Job Duties 

·         Acts as a liaison person with internal and external partners on matters related to group products, marketing and services.

·         Effectively handles inquiries from intermediaries, clients and Head Office partners.

·         Keeps the contact database system up to date for the Nation Sales Team.

·         Maintains  stationary supplies (marketing material, paper, envelopes, etc.).

·         Keeps abreast of new and revised technical, administrative and product changes and processes as well as changes within the industry that affect the line of business.

·         processing accounts payable and receivables

·         managing bank reconciliations

·         payroll processing and entering journal entries

·         other duties as assigned

·         work for multiple entities

 

Competencies:

·         Clear understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles

·         Proactive approach to problem solving with good communication skills

·         Good organizational and time management skills

·         Works well independently

·         Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Word)

·         Simply Accounting  proficiency is required

 

 Education

 

  •  College diploma in accounting/business admin is Required
  •   3-5 years’ relevant experience in administrative support role (ideally within financial services)
