Autotube Limited, a small progressive auto parts manufacturer, with facilities in Strathroy and Watford Ontario, has an opening for a Quality Department Assistant

The successful candidate must have the following:

1.     Experience with automotive quality systems and documents, especially control plans and work instructions

2.     Experience in the calibration of hand held gauges, Gauge R&R Studies, and Measurement Systems Analysis

3.     Must be familiar with TS-16949

4.     Experience in metrology and blueprint reading

5.     Excellent computer skills with the ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced automotive environment

6.     The successful candidate will be able to multi-task, be well organized, and be detail oriented.  Knowledge of 5S methodology would be helpful.

7.     Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in both an office and shop floor environment

8.     While this is a “hands-on” position, there is an opportunity for the right person to take on more varied tasks and responsibilities

A small amount of travel (20km) between our two facilities will be required, along with periodic requirements to travel to customer or supplier facilities in North America
