Agriculture Sales and Marketing Rep

Our client a progressive agribusiness serving producers throughout Essex, Kent and Lambton counties is seeking a professional to join there team in the position of Sales and Marketing Representative. This position will be located in South Western Ontario.

Marketing Representatives carry the primary responsibility for the sale of products and services to farm businesses in the local market. This position is a great opportunity for an ambitious, energetic person who likes working with farmers to help them successfully produce and market their crops. An active interest in the business world and a desire to be recognized for success by peers and customers is essential. The role requires an individual commitment to effectively build long-term customer relationships within the territory.

Approximately 80% of the time, the successful candidate will be working one on one with farmers. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business/Agriculture or relevant experience. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and selling skills are required. Preference will be given to candidates that have a farm background and a minimum of 1 year related agricultural sales experience.
