Description

Allen Professional Search/ The People Bank is seeking a CMM Programmer/ Operator for our client located in Tillsonburg. This is a position will go permanent based on perfomance, attendance & motivation. Range is $22-25 an hour

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Responsible for programming CMM to perform dimensional measurements to meet customer requirements and ensuring calibration of all Quality Department equipment is performed as outlined

• Track gauge calibration and maintain/retain calibration and dimensional records additionally prepare and update calibration and measurement work instructions as required; Prepare and submit reports to quality manager

• Inspect new and repaired check fixtures to ensure that gauge and check fixture requirements are met

• Support TS16949 quality systems and contribute to the achievement of Quality Objectives

• Be a strong team member, while meeting production targets and produce a quality products as well as implementing lean manufacturing practices

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technician or similar field
• 5+ years CMM programming and operations with PCDmis
• 3-5 years experience in Quality Assurance/Control
• Tier 1 or 2 automotive manufacturing experience
