The London North Branch is the most ambitious expansion our Y has undertaken in decades and is scheduled to open in the fall of 2010. This exciting new location
Nature and Scope:
The Supervisor of Housekeeping and Facility will be an integral part of the New North London Y team and is responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of a comprehensive maintenance and cleaning program that exceeds the levels of service excellence as determined by YMCA: Priority S.A.M. (Serving All Members) standards.
Responsibilities:
· Models commitment to service excellence by maintaining YMCA standards
· Provides leadership to the cleaning and maintenance staff team to ensure a clean
· Co-ordinates all relevant trades' people for repairs and maintenance performed as required
· Ensures the health and safety of employees in the workplace
· Develops and sustains good member
Qualifications:
· Post Secondary Education in a related discipline is an asset
· Minimum 3 years experience of related building maintenance experience in one or more of the following:
Electrical/Plumbing
Operating Engineering/Pneumatics
Mechanical HVAC
Pool filtration/water chemistry
Familiarity with computerized Facility Management applications.
· Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
· Valid Ontario Drivers Licence
· Current Standard First Aid and CPR
.Current Criminal Record check including Vulnerable Position Screening
