Sales and Executive Assistant/Office Manager

CTAR Corp is a growing company providing asset recovery services to the cable and telecom industries. Our company resells, donates, and recycles obsolete and excess telecommunications infrastructure equipment.  Our clients include some of the largest providers in Canada and the US.

Also responsible for managing office administration, the Sales and Executive Assistant position will be responsible for customer service, managing processes, scheduling and workflow.  This includes managing office paperwork, mail, and invoices.  It also requires excellent communications and interpersonal skills working with our key clients (ie. equipment owners), existing buyers and finalizing sales, managing priorities, and managing other required documentation and special projects.  This is an entry level opportunity with the ability to have a direct impact on decisions and the company performance.  The successful candidate will be required to complete many tasks independently and in a timely manner with minimal supervision. 

This is an excellent position for someone looking to be challenged in a growing industry in an empowering environment that rewards performance and contribution.  We are looking to fill the position immediately.  Compensation is between $30,000 to $35,000 with room for growth for the right candidate.

 Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with both clients and buyers to support sales
  • Provide pre and post sales support
  • Facilitate pick up, inventory and manage tracking of equipment and lists of available equipment
  • Address questions and inquiries, manage bids relating to available equipment
  • Consolidate bids and invoice using Microsoft Office Tools

·         Responsible for facilitating internal sales targets and reporting on other KBI metrics

·         Establish and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders

  • Mitigate productivity and quality issues as they arise
  • Assist with financial tracking, planning and business management
  • Ensure all daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements are fulfilled
  • General administrative duties such as booking travel, calendar planning and general tasks.

 Requirements:

  • Administrative or customer service experience required
  • Post-secondary education is an asset
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, customer service, and communication
  • Some web maintenance is an asset
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and goal oriented
  • Must be organized and able to get tasks completed
  • Some travel is required
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
  • Hard working and quickly adaptable to changing business needs and processes
