Purpose of Position
As a member of the London Human Resources Team, the focus of this role is on developing future recruitment strategies and initiatives as well as the continuous review and improvement of current practices. Support relocations and expatriate requirements as needed. Provide support and leadership of health & safety initiatives in all Trojan locations with a focus on best practices. Planning and delivery of HR related training initiatives. Development, analysis and reporting of departmental as well as companywide metrics and KPI’s. Assist with the development and implementation of new policies, processes and associate programs.
Key Responsibilities
· Build upon current recruitment practices with a focus on developing a global recruitment strategy which supports all Trojan businesses.
· Make full use of available recruiting programs and resources, and understand the benefit being derived from each.
· Lead HR Training Initiatives. Proactively make recommendations for HR related training programs and implement various enhancements to current training programs.
· Maintain a global prospective in assisting in the development and creation of various human resources and healthy & safety related programs ensuring compliance with legislation in respective geographic locations.
· Work with the HR team in the continuous development and reporting of metrics as well as process improvements in the areas of health & safety, recruiting, etc. to achieve desired results.
· Ensure compliance with corporate reporting requirements as needed.
· Provide guidance to leaders and associates on policy related inquiries and associate related issues.
· Assist with the development of relocation programs, processing of work VISA requirements, and administration of relocation packages.
· Provide leadership for workplace related injuries in all locations working closely with leaders, associates and government agencies in claims management, back to work and modified work programs, etc.
· Work with various leaders and current HR staff to conduct an annual review of all training needs and scheduling of training with a global overview of the needs of the business.
Background and Skill
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience at a senior generalist level in the areas of Recruitment, Health & Safety, Training, Cross border issues, Associate Relations, and KPI reporting.
- Experience in managing medically related injuries both within and outside of geographic location.
- CHRP and/or CRSP designation preferred.
- Diploma in at least one of the following areas; Human Resources, Health & Safety, Business Administration.
- High level of understanding and expertise in employment standards, government reporting requirements, Employment Standards Act as well as practical knowledge of legislation in other geographies.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Experience in supporting other geographic locations in a generalist role.
- Excellent computer and presentation skills required.
