Currently, Brose Canada Inc. is seeking a full time Logistics Planner for our London Ontario location. Typical job functions are shown below but are not limited to:
Job Specifications:
· Order and maintain stock levels as per SAP and build requirements
· Plan production areas in order to meet customer requirements and shipments
· Manage stock levels within Brose
· Resolve errors within the system in order to maintain an accurate flow of information
· Manage material issues in respect to modifications and vehicle changes to ensure that stock is minimized
· Coordinate delivery of sufficient packaging in line with ideal stock levels
· Support self-managed manufacturing team targets and objectives in respect to logistics activities
· Undertake special projects and activities as required
· Responsible for adhering to Brose policies and standards with respect to environmental requirements
· Support engineering change process (GECOS)
· Additional duties and responsibilities as required
· Support and initiate cost saving and optimization activities
(material flow / scrap / manufacturing process)
Your Profile: 3-5 years previous experience in a Material Planning position, preferably in the automotive industry/ Post Secondary Education or equivalent experience in Material Flow/ Experience with Electronic Material Flow Systems preferably with SAP and DDL system.
