ZTR Control Systems is a leader in monitoring and control systems in rail, industrial, and power markets. We are looking for a seasoned Shipper\Receiver, reporting to the Production Manager to cover a maternity leave position for one year. The primary function of the role is to process and manage all shipments domestically and internationally. This position interfaces with a variety of staff and management, including members from our engineering, technical service and production teams.
The successful candidate will work in a time-sensitive, team-oriented environment. This role needs somebody who is quick, flexible, and make decisions on their feet, while shifting priorities and working towards multiple deadlines.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Incoming inspection and proper receiving, documentation and serialization of product

Organizing inventory stock and maintaining accurate counts

Pulling work orders
-
Customer orders with appropriate materials according to the shipping schedules

International shipments and all required paperwork necessary for customs

Shipping goods are properly packaged

Shipments reaching destination in the specified time, and required follow-up

Providing required reports relating to inventory and delivery issues

Additional Requirements:

Experience in shipping (2-3 years preferred).

Knowledge of custom laws for exporting goods

Knowledge of searching and establishing harmonization codes relating to product

Experience with NAFTA certificates and processing proper Harmonization Codes for product shipped

Experience with Visual Manufacturing or another ERP/Quality system would be asset
