The University of Western Ontario is seeking two individuals for one-year contract opportunities within the Western Information Systems Group (WISG).  

The Technical Analyst-II provides technical guidance and leadership to other technical analysts.  The incumbent works with other analysts and consultants working with one or more Oracle/PeopleSoft applications including identification of technical issues and problems.  The Analyst-II uses in-depth knowledge of the Oracle/PeopleSoft/Primavera applications and tools to carry out technical fit/gap analyses, design of new processes, including forms and user documentation, and works with management in the planning, monitoring, control and evolution of the applications.

Qualifications

Education:

-     University degree in Computer Science or comparable experience and expertise

Experience:

-     2-4 years working in production application development/implementation environment
-     2-4 years working with Oracle/PeopleSoft applications and tools or similar enterprise applications

Skills & Expertise:

-     In-depth knowledge of one or more Oracle/PeopleSoft/Primavera applications; knowledge of one or more programming languages; expertise in use of development tools, e.g. PeopleTools
-     Excellent oral and written technical communication skills
-     Must be a self starter and a team player
-     Must be customer focused
