Chiropractic Office – Patient Care Team Member

In this position, you will interact with hundreds of people on a weekly basis who are striving to regain, achieve, or maintain optimum health, naturally.  Your most valuable assets in this position are your personality and human relations skills.  You must also take an interest in your own health and fitness.  Office management skills are vital, but a secondary asset.

At Stallaert Chiropractic Centre our team is expected to excel in a highly interactive environment and multi-task productively.  You must love working with and communicating with people.  We care for a large number of families and people of all ages, and welcome applications from those who can communicate effectively with a diverse cross-section of the population.  Stallaert Chiropractic Centre manages many clinical records electronically, and we therefore require all staff to have a firm understanding of computers and technology.

Patient Care Team Member Responsibilities:

·       patient care assistance

·       reception room education series and newsletters

·       internal marketing of special projects (wellness workshops: nutrition/exercise/stress seminars, etc., and special topics) 

·       coordination of outside projects (health screenings, athletic events, speaking engagements and workplace education series)

·       accounting (patient accounts and financial transactions) 

Areas of supervision:

·       patient compliance to care

·       workshop registration

·       events promotion

·       patient progress reporting

This position requires:

·       Outstanding communication and leadership skills

·       Above-average experience using Microsoft Word & Excel

·       Organization, grammar, and math skills

·       Keyboarding 40+ wpm

·       Creative skills in marketing and communications (Please provide examples if possible)

·       A passion for humanity, and a desire to transform the world into a healthier place

The weekly commitment for this position is 30-40 hours (Monday through Friday, with staggered evenings and early mornings.  Occasional weekends maybe required).

Experience with chiropractic care (as a patient, or as an employee in a chiropractic facility) is recommended but not required.  A proven interest in holistic health care and/or personal well-being will benefit your application.

Monday and Wednesday 8:00am to 10:00am or 3:00pm to 6:00pm

Tuesday and Thursday 3:00pm to 6:00pm

Friday  9:00am to 10:00am
