POSITION: Technical Training Coordinator
BUSINESS UNIT: Ice Cream
LOCATION: London, Ontario, Canada 401 plant
REPORTS TO: Manager Performance Development
Nestlé Canada Ice Cream has an immediate opening for a Technical Training Coordinator, to join the Human Resources team at our state-of-the-art ice cream factory, located in London, Ontario, Canada.
Reporting to the Manager, Performance Development, the Technical Training Coordinator will be accountable for fostering a learning organization culture among Nestlé London Ice Cream factory employees. The incumbent will deliver and coordinate learning and training events in the factory, perform data collection, maintain training systems, and participate in the scheduling of employees.
Major Responsibilities:
- Support regional and corporate training initiatives rolled-out at the London factory
- Lead training and development activities in the factory.
- Manage training need analysis process and prepare local training plans.
- Perform instructional design and training delivery.
- Provide support and guidance in training related matters
- Coordinate factory training calendar.
- Coordinate factory training service providers.
- Evaluate learnings and training experiences
- Provide assistance in developing work Instructions/standard operating procedures and one point lessons throughout the factory
- Participate in and contribute to in Education and Training Pillar
- Participate and coordinate scheduling of employees
- Administer and update the training database
Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of experience in the training and development area are a definite asset.
- Train the trainer certification
- Experience at coordinating learning and training events. .
- Knowledge of learning and training instructional design methodologies and applications.
- Knowledge of training best practices and blended learning approach.
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Word and Power Point
- Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Results oriented.
- Facilitation skills & project management skills.
