Our client is seeking a candidate that is proficient with Simply Accounting, flexible, experienced and can hit the floor running. The successful candidate will spend approximately half of their time on bookkeeping/accounting duties and half of their time on general office / receptionist duties. This position requires that the candidate learn and become familiar with custom software.
Skills Requires:
- proficient in Simple Accounting
- source deductions
- invoicing
- strong skills in all aspects of Accounts Receivable, Collections, cash receipts, banking
- familiar with Accounts Payable, payroll and journal entries
- detail oriented and able to prioritize
- proficient with other MS Office software, Word, Excel, Access, Email
- phone skills, good customer service abilities, and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- general office duties, copy, fax, scan, email, file etc
- flexibility as to duties, as this is a small office that covers all areas and responsibilities
