Job Description
STIHL Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ANDREAS STIHL AG & Co. KG in Germany is a leader in the distribution of chain saws and hand-held outdoor power equipment in Canada.
We have an immediate opening for a Manager, Technical Services & Training - Small Engines at our Head Office in London, Ontario.
Utilizing your exceptional communications skills, you will provide technical assistance to our established servicing Dealer network throughout Eastern Ontario & Western Quebec. You will also approve and process warranty claims, conduct product demonstrations and maintain all required reporting. Dealer and end-user training seminars are an important part of this portfolio requiring cultivated presentation skills.
Fluently bilingual, you will be responsible for the creation and translation of technical documents from English to French. Regional and provincial travel amounting to approximately 40 overnights per year.
Your related post-secondary education or training is supported by superior organizational and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal skills, two and/or four cycle engine theory and application experience, and solid customer service and teamwork abilities.
