Parts Canada is a national distributor of aftermarket parts and accessories for the Canadian Power Sports Industry. With our distribution centers located in Calgary and London, we have ability to offer next day delivery from coast to coast.  We are proud to be the exclusive distributor for some of the most recognizable product names in the industry.

We are currently hiring a Marketing Co-op student for the fall semester and a possible extension. The successful candidate will be creative, professional, and a motivated self-starter. The position will involve social media communication in both English and French. Bilingual in English-French is a strong asset and would be eligible for a higher pay rate; however internal sources could be available for translation.
 

Marketing Assistant Co-op Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain social media and website posts in both English and French
• Follow Canadian media (and some international media) to monitor the status and trends of the industry
• Work with media to provide media/test product, product announcements, content, images, and fulfil other media requests in French and English
• Write and distribute new product information, sponsorship information and news/press releases in French & English
• Design, write, and distribute marketing promotional pieces in French and English
• Maintain and update Social Media platforms as well as coordinate, gather and curate photos/videos for our media archives to be used in social and print media application
• Design/write/distribute the Parts Canada monthly Newsletter in French and English
• Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics

Marketing Assistant Co-op Requirements:

• Bilingual in French – English considered a strong asset and would be eligible for a higher pay rate
• Currently in the process of completing post-secondary education in Marketing or relevant field
• Excellent written and oral communication in French and English (internal resources available for translation)
• Expertise in multiple social media platforms
• Understanding of the legal use of social media with regards to copyright use and CASL
• Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
• Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
