Are you up to the challenge?
As a Solution Analyst, you will work closely with our sales team and clients to elicit, analyze, specify and validate the business and functional requirements of projects and users and ensure these are clear so Autodata systems architects’ and technical leads can then build a final plan and technology solution.  This may be accomplished through consulting interviews and a variety of Use Case models or modeling tools. You will also help support the development process and ensure that project deliverables are met according to specifications. On smaller projects, the Solution Analyst may act as PM or assume some project coordinator activities through the development lifecycle.
 
Salary Range:  $65,500.00 to $92,000.00 annually

Responsibilities include:
 
Requirements Management
 
  • collaborate with the Solution Consulting team, Architects and project sponsors to clarify/refine project scope and vision
  • conduct interviews and product analysis to gather quality user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios and other methods.
  • with our creative team and user specialists, lead UI work flow of the project
  • translate conceptual business requirements into functional requirements using standard ASC templates
  • create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team
  • work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements
  • where necessary, guide the development of prototypes
  •   analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards
  •   manage requirements tracking, modifications and improvements
  • remain connected throughout the project lifecycle to ensure the vision is maintained; manage and track the status of requirements, enforce and redefine as necessary.
  • communicate changes, and enhancements verbally or through written documentation, to all stakeholders
  • ensure all new or changed requirements are signed off by client
  • organize and lead the requirements review sessions internally and with client
  • contribute to improvements in team process
  • consult in the development of test strategies, scenarios, execution and support during business acceptance testing
 
 
Presales Activities                                                                                               
 
  • work with sales organization and clients to understand client needs, vision, project scope  and design solutions
  • as needed, created high level requirements documents appropriate to the sales phase and strategy
  • assist with responses to client proposal requests (RFIs and RFPs)
  • Help create SOWs where needed
 
Consulting Skills
 
  • work with client to elicit requirements and propose solutions
  • create and maintain client relationships
  • build and maintain relationships with the internal delivery team
  • with input from internal delivery team, communicate and negotiate requirement scope a with client as necessary
 
Successful candidates will be…
 
  • Able to work in the US and has to be able to attain the necessary visas and work permits or other applicable authorization to perform such work as required
  • A post-secondary graduate, in the field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance or Information Systems preferred
  • Experienced in the related work environment, minimum 5 years (10+ for Senior level)
  • Experienced in business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
  • Knowledgeable of business theory, business processes and management
  • Able to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Able to effectively set and manage shifting priorities judiciously and execute tasks under pressure
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented
  • Extremely analytical, mathematical and have creative problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent in listening, interviewing, oral communication, documentation/writing and have diplomacy skills
  • Able to manage and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Understanding of project management principles, PC skills and have hands-on experience building tools and presentations with the Microsoft suite of products
  • Knowledgeable of SDLC and a variety of programming languages including JAVA, .net, HTML an asset
  • Highly self-motivated, self-directed and able to exercise independent judgment and take action
  • Understanding of Autodata’s goals and objectives
  • Strongly customer service oriented
