Nothers Signs & Recognition, located in London Ontario, is looking for a Production Associate to join our team. This is a full-time position with base hourly pay between $16 - $18 depending on experience. We offer a great work environment, competitive wages and group benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Working in production according to established procedures
• Operating equipment to produce custom products and/or decorate them according to the artwork specifications 
• Assembling products using bolts, screws, clips, soldering tools, and assorted fasteners
• Checking products for quality and correct specifications
• Meeting daily production quotas
• Documenting all production records
• Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Following all safety protocols and workplace policies

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment preferably using laser, engraving, doming and sublimating equipment
• Must be organized, able to work on multiple jobs simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Quick learner with good manual dexterity
• Attention to detail is critical
• Analytical problem solver with ability to apply common sense and make sound process recommendations
• Able to grasp and follow the entire order production process
• Dependable team player with great customer service skills
• Able to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
• Good attendance record
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience using photo editing software such as CorelDraw and Adobe preferred
• Experience with Lakeshore preferred
• Knowledge of First Aid and CPR preferred

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in job shop environment used to working with custom orders.

Working Conditions:

• Typical work week Monday – Friday, hours of work may vary
• Performing physical labour
• Repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods of time
• Required to operate a variety of hand and power tools as well as special equipment
• Regular work around noisy equipment with occasional exposure to dust
• Use of personal protection equipment will be required (safety glasses, dust mask, ear plugs)
