Job Description
Design Group Staffing is seeking a Sourcing Buyer Associate to join the Purchasing team, of our client a London based multi-national organization considered a leader in the manufacturing sector. This is a contract opportunity offering an hourly wage of $23-25 + 4% vacation; no benefits.

The successful incumbent will focus on supporting the purchasing team by:
- Creating SAP Purchase Orders and working on any match exceptions with Suppliers
- Verify customer orders identifying stock and ensuring available inventory
- Work with manufacturing clients on cost reduction and lean projects
- Identify new sources of supply and site visits
- Provide sourcing support to many office and manufacturing sites.
- Enters, verifies and records discrepancies with incoming and outgoing shipments
Minimum Requirements:
- A University degree is required for this position
- APICS/SCMP certification is preferred
- Experience in buying and planning for a manufacturing environment
- Negotiation Skills
Experience & Qualifications:
- Candidates must have strong self-motivation and time management ability
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required as there is a significant educational component to the role
- The individual requires a strong customer focus and consultative skills with a proven ability to develop solutions that address customer needs

Salary: $23-25 hourly depending on experience
