Note: This is a full-time Administrative position (37.5 hours per week).
Duties: This position is responsible for the operations of the Fanshawe College Board of Governors and the Fanshawe College Foundation Board of Directors by providing a variety of administrative and executive secretarial support which includes: the preparation of agendas and memoranda; minute taking; obtaining and distributing information; coordinating and preparing correspondence; arranging Board activities and coordinating events; liaising with staff in other areas of the College, and orienting and assisting Board members with their needs.
Qualifications:
While transcripts are not required for the interview, they are mandatory prior to any offer of employment.

Qualifications:
- Post-secondary 2 year diploma in Office Administration or Business Studies
- Minimum 5 years recent, relevant experience
- Understanding of board governance and organizational structure
- Good understanding of Board budget and accounting processes and records
- Good knowledge of College policies/procedures and organizational structures, with the ability to apply guidelines and procedures appropriately
- Excellent computer and analytical skills with very high attention to detail to produce high quality data, reports, correspondence and other documents
- Minute taking skills
- Good communication, interpersonal, team building and strong organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently and effectively manage multiple and competing priorities
- Must be extremely professional and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Must be able to prioritize work assignments
- Tact, diplomacy and discretion
- Need to be flexible with working hours as meetings may involve early mornings, late nights and some weekends
