Here’s the deal, a creative, passionate and socially minded entrepreneur needs a right hand woman/man to help make ideas happen.  More than anything, assisting in taking action on ideas and moving projects forward as well as driving sales and business development.  My wife and I run multiple businesses in Fashion Lifestyle and Real Estate.  I have more ideas and opportunities than I have time for.
 
I need someone super smart, sharp, passionate and talented with a great attitude and a tremendous spirit of resourcefulness.  I want someone who when they encounter an obstacle, they want to find a way around, through, over it, under it, etc.  Someone who is detail oriented, has a very high standard of excellence and wants to make the world a better place, enriching the lives of others along the way. 
I want someone who’s humble, teachable, and determined.  Someone who likes growing. 
 
First priority is being extraordinary at executing and communication, but secondly having a strong creative bent or talent is needed. Ideally, you’re strongest in the detail side of things, but your artistic side isn’t far behind.  And you have a knack for making things happen.
 
My goal in every business I’m involved in is to create beautiful yet functional products or services that inspire and that communicate an extraordinary sense of care and thoughtfulness towards the clients.

  • Baggage Carrier: Carry personal baggage and issues into work that prevent you from showing up with your gameface on.  Yes occasionally stuff happens, but it cannot be frequent.
  • Time puncher.  This is more than a job/business to us.  We want to change the world and make it a better place.  We are making a difference in the world and you will be the magnifier of that voice.  If you don’t care enough, your creative potential will be diminished and we will receive far from the best from you.
  • Need safe, predictable, routine. What is predictable, is that you and I will be doing many different things by the end of the year than we’re doing now.  I will be launching two new businesses during the next two months, three if you count real estate development. 
  • No BS-I don’t want to hear the story of why things didn’t or can’t get done.  Let’s find a way to make it happen.
 
Roles: This is a fusion role and Yes, you will have some traditional executive assistant type roles as well as business development roles such as but not limited to:
  • Scheduling and handling travel coordination details.
  • Scheduling meetings and calendar details for events.
  • Responding to emails.
  • Generating leads, collaborations, and organizing list building.
  • Sales tasks including confident phone skills and presence for in-person meetings, pitching potential clients, media and public relationships and executing on joint venture collaborations.
  • Project management in several capacities-overseeing and managing product development aspects, special events, and marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinating vendor details for events.
  • Managing some domestic items (occasional personal shopping, organizing, coordinating cleaners etc).
  • Overseeing designers and marketing pieces (an artistic eye is appreciated here).
  • Shopping for friends, clients, and me (thoughtful gifts etc).
 
Other Needs/Wants:
  • The ability to travel domestically and possibly internationally occasionally if needed.
  • Reliable transportation as you will work out of the main office in London, Ontario, Canada, but will be on the road for errands and meetings often. 
  • Social media savvy is a definite plus.
  • Design experience or creative environment experience is a must.
  • Tech savvy-is a plus.  If you hate figuring that stuff out, this probably isn’t the right role for you.
  • You will be involved in helping me grow and develop 4 businesses with a sharp focus on 1 specific one.  It will be fun, exciting, and challenging.
  • You will grow and experience things you didn’t imagine you’d experience.  Ultimately, this might be one of the most challenging yet rewarding opportunities you ever have. I will call out the best in you and I want you to do the same.
  • I want someone who would want this position long term.
  • You will travel occasionally with me, my wife or possible other staff members to some amazing events and places and meet some really talented people.
  • This is a full time position, again not a time puncher, but someone who wants to really excel is key.  I am protective about time off and downtime though so I will seek to do the same, however, if something’s on a tight deadline, then I will expect that you’ll work longer hours if it wasn’t able to be accomplished earlier.
