On behalf of my client in East London I am recruiting for an Industrial Millwright position for Direct Hire, the successful candidate would possess a minimum of 3 years of Industrial Experience as an Electrician.

Wage: $33.65 per hour + Shift Premium: $0.50 on Afternoons
Shifts: Straight Afternoon or Night Shifts – Train on Days 2 Weeks
3:00 p.m. to 11 p.m. / 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. (one or the other not rotating)
New team members start on Afternoons or Nights and move to days based on Seniority

- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment to maximize operating performance; detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
- Work on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and systems
- Install, examine, replace and repair all types of hydraulic and pneumatic devices: including valves, actuators, pumps, as well as all types of mechanical drive assemblies
- Perform basic administrative skills including computer data entry and documentation of work performed by written and electronic methods
- Contribute to continuous improvement, productivity, quality, customer service, cost reduction and safety
- Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
- Certificate of Qualification: Millwright
- Completed Millwright Apprenticeship and/or licensed Journeyman
- Minimum of 3-5 Years of Experience in similar role
- Welding experience is required
- Team player who possesses a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Time management and prioritization skills with a sense of urgency when required
