Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process, reconciliations and financial statement preparation

• Analyze accounts, records, reports, journal entries, ledgers, and other accounting documents for accuracy, adequacy, reasonableness, and other proper accounting treatment as required

• Ensure confidentiality and security of all financial files

• Implement and manage internal controls with respect to financial policies, processes and procedures

• Provide strategic analysis as required to drive improved decision making

• Provide advice and guidance on all accounting matters including financial systems, record keeping, analysis and reporting

Qualification and Experience

• University degree in Business/Accounting, with advanced degree or professional accounting designation preferred

• Extensive experience and knowledge of all aspects of corporate accounting and financial management

• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and application

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Excel

• High level of critical and logical thinking and analysis

• Ability to organize and plan multiple objectives within established timelines

• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, and with external sources, in both verbal and written form

• Experience with Microsoft NAV or equivalent ERP system
