Job Description
We are in search of a Quality Manager for our clients manufacturing plant in Ingersoll, Ont.
Description:
To implement and oversee Quality Systems to provide leadership, direction and support to the ISO 9001 and TS 19649 systems. Actively contribute to the achievement of company goals and objectives in the areas of cost, productivity, quality, safety, quantity and delivery.
Responsibilities:
•Manage, monitor and co-ordinate all quality activities within the company
•Follow-up of corrective actions
•Supplier evaluations
•Oversee adherence to the Quality Assurance polices/procedures
•Provide leadership, guidance, training, instruction coaching to all personnel regarding quality principles and best practices
•Oversee the development and implementation of an effective Corrective Action program
•Establish and monitor budgets for the Quality Department
•Create/maintain documented procedures for any/all key processes within the Quality Dept
Qualifications
Strong leadership and Program Management skills
Knowledge of Collective Agreement and other workplace legislative requirements
7+ years of experience within an automotive setting
