Print Advertising Sales – Job Description
If you are passionate, talented professional with a proven print advertising sales record then we want you to join our team.
Reporting to the President and Business Development Manager, this position will be responsible for:
Completing weekly sales plans to ensure sales calls are completed, prospect new customers and develop and maintain existing customer revenue from past.
Planning strategically to approach and gain new business, identifying opportunities to up sell from past sales and planning to complete calls on a number of prospects that have the same deadline as well as meeting sales targets.

Reporting to the President and Business Development Manager, this position will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and updating database as related to sales department.
- Ability to customize and draft sales pieces, proposals.
- Assisting with correspondence, proposals, tracking, filing, and proofing of contracts.
- Identifying, closing new business and cold calling, research and special projects
- Proactively making sales calls, screening calls/email requests for info
- Completing weekly sales plans, identifying opportunities of up selling, and other duties assigned
- Actively develop and maintain sales leads from qualified prospects
- Prepare and present sales proposals to decision makers
- Build and maintain solid long-standing relationships based on trust integrity and exceptional customer service
- Generate and maintain advertising revenues through current and new customers
- Meet sales goals and schedule deadlines
- Participate and excel in special projects as assigned
- Proactively making telephone sales
REQUIREMENTS
- Formal education in sales and marketing.
- Minimum three years proven business development and print advertising sales
- Candidate must be personable, outgoing, competitive and energetic.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail, solid organizational skills, punctual and strong work ethic.
- Results-oriented approach with a positive attitude
- Proficiency with software including Microsoft Office, and datbase usage
- Goal oriented to achieve targets through self motivation, persistence and a drive to succeed
- Strong prospecting skills
- Strong negotiating and account planning skills
- Ability to work independently and excellent multi-tasking skills
- Proven time management and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively overcome objections
- Ability to provide comprehensive advertising solutions
- A passion for sales
- Ability to research, prospect and establish leads through telephone solicitation and electronic means

COMPENSATION
- The compensation package includes a base salary plus commission for a results oriented individual
