Harvest Power is currently looking for a Plant Operator to work in our London Energy Garden. This is a regular, full time position and a great opportunity to build your career while pioneering zero waste initiatives!

Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for plant activities such as receiving material/product, and monitoring all equipment
- Operate plant equipment including; cranes, loaders, forklifts, tractors and trucks as required
- Operate and monitor dewatering equipment and digestion process
- Facility maintenance including: road maintenance, weigh bridge, site housekeeping, snow clearing around access doors and emergency exits etc
- Assist with logistics, shipping and receiving
- Regulate the safe movement of trucks on site, to ensure contents are placed in the proper unloading bays
- Operation of all plant machinery and equipment
- Record all monitoring control points in the data log book, check that all control points are captured by the system controller
- Assist with sample collection, pilot trials and health and safety management
- 3-5 years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- OSSD (Grade 12 diploma) required
- Experience working with liquid waste, digester machinery or waste water is an asset
- Experience working with mechanical and electrical systems
- Advanced mechanical reasoning and problem solving skill
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking and quantitative skills
- Reliable transportation is required as this position is not located on a bus route
