Assistant, Business Services (1.0 FTE, 12 Month Position)
 
 
LOCATION:                               Education Centre, London
 
HOURS OF WORK:                   8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Subject to Article 15.01(b))
                       
RATE OF PAY:                           $18.94 - $22.95 per hour
                                                                                                                       
DUTIES TO COMMENCE:         2016 June 01
 
JOB SUMMARY: The Assistant, Business Services provides a range of financial support services including, but not limited to: processing of accounts payable, the maintenance and collection of accounts receivable, the review and processing of corporate purchasing cards, the processing of board journal and budget entries, and maintenance of the board’s vendor database. A high level of customer service is required in interactions with clients, suppliers, schools, and all Board departments.
 
QUALIFICATIONS: An Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), successful completion of a one (1) year post-secondary program in accounting/business or equivalent, keyboarding (50 w.p.m.) skills, the ability to use Word, Excel and one (1) year related experience is required.
