Job Description
Talentcor London is recruiting for our client, a leader in the manufacturing sector for a Bilingual Inside Sales Rep that will be required to establish and maintain customer relationships for a specific account within their branch office network across Canada. This will include driving sales growth through telephone sales, handling customer questions and up-selling and cross selling strategically aligned products. Successful candidate will need to team up with the client’s territory reps and regional sales managers to meet forecasted sales targets, as well as gain customer insight and uncover potential sales opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Grow client business through telephone sales to customer branches and branch personnel to introduce and promote quarterly promotional programs
- To develop marketing and sales support collateral to support quarterly promotional programs
- To promote and introduce new product introductions to customer branch personnel
- Develop and maintain relationships with client/customer base
- To field incoming calls from customer branch personnel
- To attend and work at the customer annual trade show event and select branch events
- Achieve forecast attainment
- Attain set outbound call activity
- Record all required data into Salesforce.com CRM system
- Manage identified call activities
- To provide sales support to dedicated customer field sales reps
- Effectively manages assigned territory. Understands sales goals and establishes self-directed sales coverage with manager's assistance.
- Acts as the primary liaison with external branch personnel/customers
- Communicates clearly and professionally with the customer by telephone and/or written correspondence
- Practices first call resolution
- Plans and manages time and resources for effective coverage of territory, communications, and all responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university is required
- Minimum of one (1) year of combined experience in sales and/or customer service is required
- Customer service and/or sales experience is required
- Must be bilingual (French/English) with exemplary written & verbal communication skills in both languages
- Possess exceptional customer service competencies
- Strong, active listening skills
- Results-oriented with strong process and execution skills
- Ability to work in a high volume rapidly changing environment
- Strong computer skills, MS Office Salesforce.
- Self-starter/self-directed that leads with high energy and passion
- Three+ years sales or telesales experience is preferred
- Marketing experience
- Familiarity with Customer and/or safety/industrial distribution network
- Good presentation skills
- Sales experience in industrial, safety and MRO industries is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to stay focused on tasks
SALARY:
$27.40 + per hour
