The Opportunity:
On behalf of one of our valued clients in Tillsonburg we are currently hiring CWB Certified MIG Welders for a Custom Sheet Metal Company. You will have the chance to be a part of a very dedicated and experienced work force that takes pride in both their company, and the work they do for their customers.
The Rewards:
• Opportunity for Full-time Hours
• $15.00/hr+4% Vacation Pay
• Direct Deposit Paid Weekly
• Potential of getting hired on permanently after [480 hours/ 6 months]- **Contingent upon your overall job performance and the needs of the client.**
The Responsibilities:
• Interpret welding process specifications, operate hoisting and lifting equipment
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
Custom Fabrication- manufacturing environment, steel, iron and heavy metals
• Welding Techniques- Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)(TIG) Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) (MIG)
The Selection Criteria:
• CWB Certification
• Applicant Must have completion of high school
• Must have 1 year to less than 2 years experience
• Must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50lbs)
• Must be willing to complete a criminal background check before starting
