Founded in 2003, Digital Boundary Group is a professional services firm providing information technology security testing, standards’ compliance assessments and training to clients around the World. Customers engage us to identify exploitable vulnerabilities in their information technology and application systems, and have us provide recommendations on how to strengthen and enhance their cyber security posture.

We are currently on the hunt for creative, passionate, and driven individuals to join our growing team as Application Penetration Testers!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Perform web and mobile application security assessments
  • Perform external network penetration tests
  • Perform vulnerability scans
  • Write client reports with your findings and recommendations
  • Research and learn about information security trends, new testing techniques, and best practices, and share findings with the team
  • Assist in the development of in-house testing tools and processes
  • Occasional off-hours work to perform testing
  • Occasional travel to client sites to perform testing

What you bring to the job:

  • 3-year college diploma or 4-year bachelors degree in computer programming, computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience
  • 3+ years programming experience
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of markup, scripting, and programming languages such as HTML, XML, JavaScript, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, ASP, C++, C#, Java, and .NET
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle
  • Knowledge of iOS and Android SDKs
  • Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows Server, Windows 7/8/10, and Linux
  • Basic knowledge of network devices such as firewall, routers, and switches
  • Demonstrated report writing capabilities and strong communication skills
  • CISSP, GSEC, GWAPT, OSCP certifications considered an asset
  • Fluent in English; Experience in a second language is considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of OWASP Top Ten project
  • Knowledge of Open Source Security Testing Methodology Manual (OSSTMM)
