Are you looking for Cashier work in London? 
Do you have Cash Handling & Customer Service Experience? 
We’re hiring Cashiers for a Post Secondary School’s Bookstore in London. 
 
This is a short-term contract starting January 3rd lasting about 3-4 weeks in length. 
 
We are looking for talented individuals to provide superior customer service to students during the winter semester rush. 
Our client is one of Canada’s top Universities and is looking to add team members who will strive to deliver outstanding service.
 
What we offer:
  • $14.50 per hour 
  • Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm (shift times will vary)
  • Friendly work environment
  • Weekly pay cheque
 
What you do:
  • Provide excellent customer service 
  • Scan products and process customer transactions accurately 
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions 
  • Keep the register area neat and stocked with essential supplies 
  • Assist customers with general inquiries 
  • Maintain a positive environment in the store
  • Opening and closing store
 
 
Who you are:
  • Minimum one year experience in a cashier / cash handling role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being on feet for the duration of the entire shift (up to 8 hours)
  • Able to lift upwards of 25lbs
  • A team player with good communication skills 
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced work environment 
  • Resourceful and courteous when resolving inquiries 
  • Motivated to learn new things and delivering great customer service
  • Must be fully vaccinated as per University Policy
 
Please note that candidates MUST be available for a training shift on December 15th or 16th . Contract will begin January 3rd.
