Job Description
SLEEGERS Engineered Products Inc. (sleegers.ca) is a London based, rapidly expanding North American supplier of engineered solutions for the pressure vessel and propane industries. SLEEGERS has over 50 years of experience providing outstanding service and exceptional quality. With three facilities in London, ON, we design and produce a wide scope of engineered solutions. Our work ranges from the design and production of bulk propane tanks to large-scale water purification systems.
Consistent with our continued expansion, we are recruiting a highly motivated, practical, and analytical Production Planning & Supply Chain Leader to grow with us. The successful candidate will work within a cross-functional team to ensure that we efficiently deliver superior quality product from start to finish. In this pivotal leadership role, the successful candidate must have proven experience in production planning or scheduling and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain production schedules for each of our product lines that efficiently meet customer requirements
- Lead the development of supply chain along with our procurement team
- Review job completion strategies to leverage our in-house capabilities with the abilities of suppliers to optimize cost and efficiency for production tasks on a case-by-case basis
- Liaise between business development, engineering, quality, and production teams
- Remain current with best practices, regulatory changes, and industry standards
- Ability to multi-task in a hands-on and cross-functional environment
Education & Experience
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, business, or a related field
- APICS certification preferred
- Three to five years of progressive experience in a batch or mixed mode production environment
- Proven experience in cultivating long-term supplier relationships
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks
- Highly proficient in data analysis using MS Excel, including pivot tables, nested formulas, vlookups, and macros
